Having worked in Virginia for the last 18 months I know this would certainly cause some controversy in good ole' Richmond.

March 16: An art exhibit by artist John Sims, entitled "The Proper Way to Hang a Confederate Flag," on display at the Mary Brogan Museum of Art.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A Confederate flag hanging from a noose on a 13-foot gallows will remain on display despite protests from the Sons of Confederate Veterans, who call it an affront to Southern heritage. ...
Art is art, and those who get offended have no eye for the arts. If this art piece causes disconfort to anyone is just the guilt or the dirty concience that provokes such inside ugly feeling.
That confederate flag looks gorgeous hanging like that!

I think confederates should just generally keep to "their own kind" they really are not human. Confederates are pretty good proof that 1st cousins shouldn't breed.

Whoever made this and whoever laughs when they see it or likes it really needs to talk to some civil war veterans and get theire own head shoved up their ass. This flag is beautiful and stronger than any flag out there

What credentials does this Hurst guy have for determining what is and what is not art? I think he'd be better served sticking to his day job of cleaning toilets, digging ditches or whatever imbreds like this guy do with themselves.
